Description
Beautiful (bleached) white organic cotton stretch single jersey, by Bo Weevil, GOTS certified. The cloth is washed and bleached with hydrogen peroxide in a closed system according to the GOTS standards. As a result, the fabric is a bit lighter in color than the natural variant.
Just like the regular jersey, stretch jersey is a finely knitted fabric of really fine thread. Only, elastane (elastic) is added to the jersey, which allows for the fabric to not only stretch broadwise, but also in length. The fabric is really supple and feels soft. The number next to the fabric indicates the yarn number: the higher the number, the finer and thinner the thread and thus the fabric that can be made from it. This stretch jersey is a bit lighter than the 30/1.
It is a wonderful basic fabric that can be used for many designs. Suitable for T-shirts, singlets, tops, skirts, dresses, leggings, yoga wear, nightwear, underwear, baby wear, scarfs. Because of the added elastane, this fabric is also suitable for tighter clothing.
